Meet the team

Rebecca Lundberg

I am a visual artist, movement specialist, musician, and clinical psychotherapist in training who brings deep empathy, humor, warmth, and open heartedness into my work.

I have B.A. degrees in Fine Arts and German language, with three years of additional study in Early Childhood Education and Dance. I am a Certified Chiropractic Assistant and Rehabilitative Pilates Instructor. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My career journey has included working with at-risk youth, adults with memory loss, physical rehabilitation for injuries and chronic conditions, landscape design, and arts education. As a native Oregonian, I’ve developed a love for soggy hikes and chilly beaches.

My approach is integrative and collaborative, with connection and compassion at the forefront. I have training in and integrate interventions from a number of therapeutic orientations, including Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic, Existential, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, Relational-Cultural, DBT, Art and Play therapies. I see therapy as an opportunity to explore the unique, complex ways our bodies and minds have adapted to the world around us. I want to really listen to you, and support you as we examine the core beliefs, value systems, and narratives that you carry. Because there is no single approach that is right for everyone, we will work together to create a process that supports you on your journey of exploration, growth, and self-compassion.

I work with individuals, couples, families, children, and teens. My clients bring concerns including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, attachment and relationships, religion/spirituality and religious trauma, adjustment to chronic illness and/or disability, ADHD, gender and sexuality, trauma, identity, and career development. Drawing from my personal experience as a mom of bi-racial children (now teenagers), I’m also passionate about supporting families and youth navigating identity development and family systems.

I believe in the inherent value of our relationships: with ourselves, the people in our lives, and our communities. My intention is to offer an authentic and affirming space, honoring your unique and complex identities and experiences. I strive to bring awareness to themes of intersectionality, marginalization, and oppression, acknowledging the significance of context and culture in shaping our lives.
